1. The app

The app is a tool that connects directly from your device to the MySQL or MariaDB servers you specify, so you can browse schemas, view and edit data, and run SQL. The developer does not operate or host your databases or servers.

The developer may change, add or discontinue features to improve the app.

2. Apple's Standard EULA

Your license to use the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add provisions about using the app and its paid plans; if they conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails.

3. Free plan and Sqloud Pro

The price you pay is the one the App Store shows for your country, and may include taxes depending on where you live. Sqloud Pro does not support Family Sharing.

4. Monthly subscription: payment, renewal and cancellation

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel the subscription in iOS Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. You can also open subscription management from the app's Settings.
• If you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Partial refunds for the remaining period follow Apple's policies.
• If the subscription price changes, you'll be notified in advance and asked to agree where required, in line with Apple's policies.

5. Lifetime purchase

• The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-consumable purchase. It never renews and is never charged again.
• Tap Restore Purchases on any device signed in with the same Apple Account to apply it again.
• “Lifetime” means you can use Pro features without a time limit for as long as the developer offers the app and you can use it through the App Store.

6. Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple, so the developer cannot issue refunds directly. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; requests are handled under Apple's policies. Nothing in these terms limits withdrawal or other rights guaranteed by the laws of the country where you live.

7. Your responsibility for database operations

• Statements you run in the SQL editor execute on the server immediately, and the app cannot undo them. Back up your data before working on a production database.
• Before applying edits from the table grid, review the SQL shown in the pending-changes bar.
• Only use servers and accounts you're authorized to access, and keep your credentials and SSH keys safe.
• With TLS off and no SSH tunnel, traffic isn't encrypted. You choose the security settings of each connection.

8. Prohibited use

You may not:

• access servers or databases you're not authorized to access, or use the app for any unlawful purpose;
• reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the app beyond what the law allows;
• click ads fraudulently or manipulate ad impressions.

9. Ads

The free plan shows third-party ads provided by Google AdMob. Advertisers are responsible for their ads and for the products and services they link to, and any dealings with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. Information related to ads is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property and trademarks

The developer owns the rights to the app and its design, name and logo. Your data remains yours, and the developer acquires no rights to it through the app.

MySQL is a registered trademark of Oracle and/or its affiliates. MariaDB is a trademark of MariaDB plc. Sqloud is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Oracle or MariaDB plc.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, the developer makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including compatibility with any particular server, uninterrupted operation and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, including data loss or changes caused by SQL you ran or changes you applied, server outages, or damage resulting from careless handling of credentials. This does not apply to damage caused by the developer's intent or gross negligence, or to liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Changes and discontinuation

The developer may update these terms when needed and will post the new version on this page with its effective date. Significant changes that affect you negatively will be announced in advance. If you keep using the app after the new terms take effect, you accept them. The developer may stop offering the app; this does not affect your databases.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute about the app will be resolved by the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act of the Republic of Korea. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer rights guaranteed by the laws of the country where you live.
